If I am having financial difficulties, how can I afford counseling?
How can you not afford counseling? Financial counseling gives you a high level of detail and individual attention. Our fees are a bargain compared to options like bankruptcy, foreclosure, and credit counseling. Plus, you will have a plan to change your financial future! The cost of financial counseling is only a small fraction compared to the money you may be spending on debt with a high interest rate. The sooner you start the more you can save!
Why should I choose your service?
We believe in helping people with the heart of a teacher. We will listen and share sound advice to your needs. We will also use different teaching methods to cater to your learning style. Our goal is not to create dependency on our services. Our success depends on your ability to take control over your finances.
Will my personal finances be kept confidential?
Yes, your information will be kept private and confidential. The information shared in your session will be between you and your counselor.

If you choose to purchase a plan, you can either pay online, request a PayPal invoice by email, or send a check or money order made payable to:
The Heart of a Teacher
4621 S. Cooper #131-314
Arlington, TX 78017
Full payment must be received before scheduling an appointment for your desired plan. Additional paper work may be needed before beginning your session.
If my spouse will not come, can I still work with a counselor?
Our policy requires that both spouses attend the counseling sessions. We believe that in order for couples to be successful at taking control over their finances, they must work together as a team. Counseling only half of the marriage does not work.
Try sitting down with your spouse in a loving and respectful way. Express to them how important it is for the two of you to work together on changing your current financial situation. Also, try having this discussion in a non-distracting and neutral environment. Please do not nag, yell, scream, or etc in an attempt to get your way. You may also try convincing them to come to counseling as a gift to you (i.e. birthday, anniversary, or holiday). If that still does not work, call and schedule a FREE 30 minute consultation anyway. We may be able to offer additional advice.
Do you conduct counseling sessions over the phone?
We can provide counseling sessions over the phone for clients that are not located in the surrounding area. You will need access to a computer, internet, MS Excel, phone, and a quite meeting place where you will not be disturbed for several hours. If married, your spouse will also so need to attend the session.
